Meet Miss Kara!

Miss Kara wears many hats at Learning for Life Education.

As founder, owner, and lead teacher for the Learning Pod and Kids Club, she has built a place where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn each day!

Hi! I'm Miss Kara, and for as long as I can remember, I've always wanted to be a teacher. I’m a mom of 2 amazing kiddos, have a Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Development and Education, and have taught preschool/ worked in daycares for over 20 years! I have also previously been licensed in the state of Kentucky as a trainer to provide daycare and preschool teachers their state mandated continued education credits!

Now, I get to be a part of YOUR child's learning journey!

Meet Miss Amber!

Miss Amber is our Lead Preschool Leader as well as the

Director of Community Engagement.

I am so excited to be joining the Learning For Life Education Team in a larger capacity this year. A few years ago, I happened to be stationed next to Kara at an event. We found very quickly that we shared a lot of the same ideas and beliefs when it comes to working with kiddos.

My son has participated in Kid's Club, LLEPS, and will be starting in the Learning Pod this year! I have worked with children and youth for over 16 years and can't wait to have an awesome year with our preschoolers!

Meet Miss Deziree!

Miss Deziree is our Assistant Teacher

My name is Deziree Neal, and I am a 21-year-old from Louisville, Kentucky. I am the proud mom of my 15-month-old daughter, Journey. I enjoy coloring, baking, reading, and spending time outdoors.

I am currently pursuing a degree in Physiology with the dream of opening my own group home. I am passionate about working with students because I love watching them grow, build confidence, and reach their full potential. Knowing I can make a positive impact in their lives is what inspires me every day.
